I think I got my used one out of an IS300 for like $175 or something. You may be able to get $250 for it? Just a guess.

So is it my understanding that the differential needs to be replaced as well as the gears?

call Mark at Spencer Fab in NH he can answer all your questions.. and no you do not have to replace your diff to have the gears changed people by a extra diff to keep there car drivable.... Mark might have a spare diff he can do a swap with for you.....

Unfortunately he's in NH and I'm in Oregon. I think I might have to find someone closer unless I go vacation!

I send him diffs from San Antonio via UPS for a 100 bucks.
Mark is awesome and I consider him a great friend but you have another choice that's closer and that's Weir Performance in CA. I have used them both and both do excellent work.....

Has one else noticed the Cusco kit is now selling for more then $1,000!! WTF?!!?!?!

I really like the ideal of switching to 4.56 but not at that price.

When I looked, it was 800-900. Darn!

I figure for acceleration gains, I'll go bang for the buck. First, Ecutek tune and custom map, then flex fuel, ACE headers, retune, and then the final gear.

@FNCrazy @BWilky There are other companies (Weir, MFactory) that sell these at a third of the cost. I'd suggest you look there.

Looks like Weir doesn't have our application, but mfactory does, and their ratios are close enough to 4.56 (4.44 & 4.67) both $610,so a lot cheaper. Weir was even cheaper if they had our car.

How do you like it? Notice a difference? Gear change speeds awkward? Freeway driving rpm's? Did you install?
