if it a new tablet direct from openflash guys they will have loaded the latest tune database 2.06x.

not all rom types are in the database only the most popular so if you read your rom and write is still grey you will have to download your rom manually.

Just received my OFT and while following the instructions I got a warning screen stating "Mode file not found. Cannot create tuning file." My car is a 2013 FRS.

What do I need to do? Download OpenFlash Manager and update to the latest maps? Whatever I need to do, trying to get it sorted since I have a track event this weekend!

I'm going to assume that they will. BRZ world gets their tablets from Shiv if I am not mistaken Shiv@Openflash

Yes that message means oft does not have your rom in its database you will need to download tunes from openflash site and upload to oft

They have a link issue on their website. I had the same issue once. Made me crazy. If you go through links in certain sections of their site it only brings you to the 1.59 maps. I think If you go through the menu up top and dig down to our car it brings you to the correct 2.x stuff.
