Didn't say it was hard. Said that many people go into these things with great plans and expectations and then just simply never do any work and it sits thee.

Yes you do. I'm at the point of going to 10+ events, admittedly not all track though.

Driving for fun on normal roads just doesn't ever quite feel the same afterwards and you crave the track.
