Needle in haystack? Looking for wireless carplay with a volume knob

Trying to find a new head unit, but looks like it's basically impossible.

I'm looking for wireless carplay, and has a physical volume knob. Kenwood has a 10" floating one, but it's $1500 CDN. I'd prefer not floating, and under $1000 CDN. To make it even harder, I wouldn't mind it having an optical drive too, but I've already come to the conclusion that I'll likely have to give up on that part.

Anyone know of anything?

Which ones are you seeing?

This is what I see as compatible for these cars on crutchfield.com: https://www.crutchfield.com/g_300/Al...ay_@Wireless@_ There's still only the Kenwood options with a volume knob.

Even removing the car filter, I still don't see anything else with a volume knob and wireless carplay: https://www.crutchfield.com/g_300/Al...ay_@Wireless@_

I recently bought a brz and was wanting the same thing. I'm not sure what you mean by floating knob but I was able to find this from best buy. I haven't bought one since I just got my car yesterday but it seems like a good option. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/boss-au...&ref=212&loc=1

I thought I had responded to @wparsons question but I guess I didn't. You are correct, there aren't any that I can see that have CarPlay and a knob. There are a couple that have carplay and up/down volume buttons, but no knob. I had inavertently left the Carplay filter off when I did my original search.

That said, the Pioneer I have in my Suburban with the volume buttons along the bottom work fine.
