Many people seem to just unbolt the engine mounts, but I unbolted the trans mount too because it caused significant restraint if left in place.

I'm getting mine tuned on Thursday. Not dyno, but e-tuned by Delicious Tuning. Can't wait to see what the tune does to this thing!

I think it's the intake. The Skunk2 Powerbox CAI is HUGE. I have the restrictor that it comes with in place to keep the air around the stock MAF close to stock, but the intake piping that is after the MAF is still huge. I'm no professional, so don't quote me, but IMO I don't think the air velocity is not able to keep up at a higher RPM because of the large piping. My reasoning doesn't make sense after I think about it, but I do still believe the problem is/was the intake. Anyone with higher knowledge about that may pleasantly tell me otherwise, I'd love to learn.

I've seen more and more club members switch back to the stock air box and drop in solution and make more power than whatever CAI they had. Mine's not bad for now, but when I eventually upgrade to the flex fuel ACE tune, I'll put the stock box back on and see what Delicious thinks.

The Grams 72mm throttle body, again not a professional, but I believe it's really only affecting the throttle response, which is amazing btw.

Moto east had some decent results with the skunk2 intake. Who knows? Lol. Either way your car is making nice power!

Yeah, it feels great! Knowing I can physically keep up with someone running an NA ethanol tune while still being on 91 makes me glad I did my research and saved for the good parts rather than rushing it.

The throttle body and intake may work great at part throttle. Dynos don't measure that.

I believe if you look at the first post they have the TRD quad exhaust with the Ace header, hope that helps a bit?

Catbacks have no effect.

ACE A350 combo here with an Invidia FP, and stock air box with HKS drop in. I haven't gone to the dyno with my car yet, but I can report the amazing power increase that this set up has provided!

Correct. The before plot was with the Grams 72mm throttle body and the Skunk2 Powerbox CAI on a stock tune.

Correct, but it not stated exactly what front pipe was used in that video.

Good to know!

Do you know what front pipe was on that RS1.0 in the video?
