I did forget to mention that I could not get my eyes off those gaps. It gets worse if you look at what's behind the cover.

Jive Turkey,

You can look at part 1 and 2 of his trilogy and it might provide some insight.

I personally couldn't get through it because of his, shall we say, rough edges.

i'll be frank, you've seen my interior so far, you really think i'll mount it crooked and leave edges like that?

he clearly did it somehow, and all i want know is if he did anything to the airbag, because if he didn't then my plan still stands and i will execute this to perfection! :burn rubber:

also its been brought up quite a few times, but there is no place for coffee in the car, i refuse to put it in the doors. when my GF and i both have coffee in the car when we go places the armrest is open and for her its inconvenient and for me too because my elbow has no where to go.

Jive Turkey,

I think I may have misrepresented myself. What I meant was you should watch his part 1 and part 2 videos because I think he might talk about the airbag in those videos. But I couldn't not watch his videos because I couldn't stand watching someone use such poor workmanship on an FR-S.

Your shit is clean. No doubts about that.

can i just say that i love your very formal forum posts i don't take offense though, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i know that what i'm doing won't be everyone's cup of tea.

and as an update, i got in contact with him and this is what he wrote to me:

If you don't have your replacement trim by the time I get back from my deployment you're more than welcome to have mine, it's the least I can do for one of my favorite BRZs.

thank you for your services.

keep me posted guys i won't be doing it for a while anyways, not until after the new year.

i can get the new trim in a matter of days, but i'd rather just pick up a used set. cash in hand now.

and after its all said and done, anyone want my current molded piece? still haven't decided if i'll sell it.

I won't be getting back until the end of Jan, but I might just have my brother in law swap them out with the black pieces next time he is over at my house. And you can have mine for the cost of shipping, I'm far too lazy to even pretend I would've put mine up for sale, haha.

Jive Turkey,

I'm glad we found some way to install those cup holders for you.

The FR-S's cup holder problem is serious. Having driven my sister's roughly-10-cup-holder 2011 Honda Fit, I realized there is no such thing as too many cup holders.
