OFT tune for JDL V2 Turbo kit??

I'm looking into buying the uel jdl v2 turbo kit for my Subaru brz and was woundering if theres a base map tune for the open flash tablet to at least run the car safely and take it to a tuner. Also can it be tuned using open flash tablet. Asking as I already have one with my full exhaust stage 2+ setup I'm running now. Thxs

The oft is good enough. You don't need a dyno tune for a header. It will probably gain like 0.5 horses but I don't think it's worth it.

OFT isn't ideal for F.I
You would have much less headaches selling the OFT, with your header and going ECUTEK.

I know somebody local with a JRSC tuned with OFT and it is hard to find people to adjust his tune.

I stated jdl v2 Turbo kit. I've been running stage 2+ w/ uel e85 for over a year now. The other guy just told me that I do have to sell the oft and just get an ecutek for the turbo kit. Thanks tho

You do not have to sell, but if you are going ecutek, by common sense it's worth selling to recoup partially spendings on new tuning solution vs keeping unused tablet gathering dust somewhere.
Luckily usually used unpaired OFTs keep their resell value well.

Do yourself a huge favor and go ECUtek. I would ditch the OFT and go full send. It'll pay for the Racerom upgrade if you sell it! Now that I have Racerom, I don't know how anyone manages without it. SD and closed loop boost control tuning is the bomb

Sorry, I thought you said header But yeah, for FI OFT doesn't cut it. It's a very limited system for that application.

Remember to unmarry oft (burn stock tune back) before you install ecutek license in car, or otherwise oft may become unusable for others/unsellable.
