also would an offset of 45mm or 40mm be better if I plan a drop to be about 1 inch all around for the most flush fit?

You'd want lower offset +40 to be flush once you lower the car. If you're planning to lower about 1" ideally you need a +35 offset to be flush.

I'm not tracking the car but just do some daily spirited driving but I really love the look of the WedsSport TC105X except the price but I've heard are some light wheels. The only other wheel I've found that's similar to that look is the XXR 527s

Does anyone have any recommendations to similar wheels?

Ideally I'd love to have that clean look on a white BRZ and wanted to know whether its worth getting the 527s and what bolts to get and what tire size to get to fit the wheels if I did get them, I'm conflicted between 225 or 235s
XXR's aren't a bad choice for a cheap wheel set. I bought some 18" 530's, 9.75" on the rear and 7.5" on the front and they fit nice and flush.

I recently purchased a set of RPF1's, but I never had a problem with the XXR's for the couple of years I had them.

Word of warning, if you go for gold and drive them hard the fronts will darken quite a bit.
