anyone putting TRD parts on their BRZ??

I suppose in the future SPT will offer a more extensive parts catalog for the BRZ in the future. For now it appears that at least initially TRD will have a host of parts for the AS1 from the time the FRS goes on sale, or so is my assumption. I know for sure I'm doing the duck bill spoiler...and maybe the exhaust system.

Depending on how quickly I get acclimated to the car, I may do some suspension mods. to liven up the car. If I am going to spend the money on TRD parts, I might as well gO all the way and get higher specification aftermarket components.

I'm sure people are going to do it, esp the duckbill and even members putting the 86 fender emblem on the BRZ too.

To me, I think it's wrong...

I'm hoping to get the TRD duckbill spoiler and exhaust. Just like everything else, still waiting for prices... aftermarket exhaust will probably be cheaper.

personally, i'm planning on a limited just for the interior and ordering the 86 bumper just to have. i do like the duckbill wing. at least bumpers are easy to swap. might use the 86 one for show

For me, it depends on if the parts are good. There's no real reason for me to put TRD parts on my car if there are aftermarket parts that have been shown to be better. To me, TRD is precisely no different than any other aftermarket company.

SPT or STI parts would be slightly different, because at least those are Subaru branded. And while I'd put the parts on myself (thus negating warranty advantages), it's still nice to have Subaru-labeled parts on the car.

Duckbill spoiler is a definite consideration for me.

I suppose that depends on whether or not there are TRD parts that I want. Currently, I can't think of any.

I like the duck bill rear spoiler but from the photos I’ve seen looks like you'll have to debadge the 2 badges on each side. Also I have no idea if it'll bold to the same hole as the factory spoiler.

Love duck bill, but it can be a bit larger.

I plan to wait for an aftermarket CF duckbill. Then have it color matched and leave a few lines to indicate that it's CF underneath.

Yeah I agree, it is somewhat large and looks tacked on. Maybe Subaru will come out with a smaller version of it. Yes I've seen the carbon one on STI demo car but that one is ugly.
