Rubbing/shutter sound after coilover install...

I just installed a new clutch/flywheel and coilovers all at the same time. The clutch is working perfect. I'm getting this odd shuttering noise as soon as i hit 60mph everytime and the faster i go the louder it gets. It's sounds like like the tires are rubbing against the fenders but i checked the tires and i don't see any cuts or rubbing marks on them. There is no noise when I'm going under 60mph. Any ideas? I haven't got and alignmeny yet. At first i had them as low as they go so i thought it was too low. So i raised it almost an inch and half but still makes the noise..... please help.

Lol did the air at 60mph cause your transmission cover to fold back and grind on the ground? I damaged mine that way, didn’t think I’d need the metal cover for a quick little drive to the hardware store.

Also yes to always having that metal cover on when driving. It not only helps siphon out engine heat but also makes the car more “slippery” going down the highway.

Although it looks like you fixed your issue, I'd advise getting your ride height set where you want it and getting an alignment done ASAP. If you don't, you might need an alignment AND a new set of tires sooner than you'd like.

No nothing was grinding on the ground lol. I had both metal and plastic panel removed together. I guess where the plastic side of the tray hooks up to the car was just flapping around. Lol all good now. I also forgot to put back the 2 nuts on the down pipe flange. I didnt hear that till after i put the tray back on. But that was making a loud metal vibrating noise. All good now!
