If the car fails on the track will warranty cover it? I want one but I'm not ready to join the finance circle jerk again. Maybe

I think it looks extreme. Hopefully in other colors it won't look so exaggerated. They should have just made it an option rather than standard on the premium trim level. Not too happy right now.

I personally don't like it but I like everything else from the Premium trim. Depending on how much it cost from the base, I'll get the base and buy my own 18"wheels and tires

That was my thought as well. I'm not a huge fan of the 18" wheel design. Plus, all models come standard with keyless and push to start, which is nice.

Also, the spoiler piece on the base trim is supposed to be plastic and removable. If that is the case and it is just a few screws to remove in the trunk spoiler, the aftermarket will surely have a variety of more interesting designs to choose from than what Toyota is doing.

“Color choices include Track bRED, Trueno Blue, Neptune Blue, Halo White, Steel Grey, Pavement Grey and Raven Black”

Does anyone have any examples of these colors?

https://www.toyota.com/86/

they are nearly all carryover colors so look at the old one.. The red you can see in launch photos and the Trueno Blue must be the Oceanic replacement.

love the ducktail, very mkv supra-esque...can't wait to drive one!

Looks like a great package, hope it carries over the driving dynamics and engagement of our cars while introducing these nice updates and the new power bump. I also hope it attracts new buyers to breathe some more life into the classic/purist sportscar segment.

This has been going on with the Supra, glad they are carrying it over to the 86. It's a nice touch for sure.

What were they smoking when they decided a thick silver surround for the infotainment display would look “cool”?? That definitely deserves a .

Except they aren't cooling ducts.

it ain't silver, just reflection from the angle of the photo. the BRZ launch thread has better pictures of the HU, should be just flat dark grey. either way, I'm sure we'll see a nicer looking one with thinner bezels as an option, like in the RHD twin pics we've seen..

Technically you’re correct. But they’re functional, which was the point.
