WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Red out taillights with clear turn signals. It was so frustrating masking off the turn signal portion, having OCD didn't help at all lol.

Finished a 2 week experiment on what would happen if I didn't drive like a maniac. Here are my results lol:

I have a ~50 mi drive every day to work. If I stay at or below 70 and no hard acceleration this is what I get lol speed limit on 65 is about 75 mph here but most people go 80 so it's sorta annoying to be in the "slow" lane

You can't trust that computer. Should have used fuelly/full fill up based calculations to really see. That is an average so it takes into account driving before you started your experiment.

You can reset the mpg computer the same way as the trip computers. I'm not sure if he did that, but it is possible to have it start a new averaging cycle.

I also believed in doing Fuelly, but I've compared the car's built in averaging to my full tank fillup calculations over a three month period (about 8,000 miles), and the results were within 1/10th of an mpg. I just trust the car now.

I reset it when I began my experiment. Plus I'm not really worried so much about actual value as I am the fact that it's a much higher value than I was at before

What were you at before? I am a week into same experiment.
I agree that the actual number may be off (can't be that much) but as long as the same measurement system was used for before and after the results are valid.

Well I drove like a bat outta hell before. Lol averaging about 85 mph to and from work on my long I-65 commute. I was averaging 27s maybe 28s. Some weeks 26. I reset a lot to check. But now. 31.9 is the highest I've seen for a few days consistently

I drove the same way (launch every chance I could get, floored it on on/off ramps, rev matched, etc)and was also getting about 26 & 27. Over the last week (granny shift, stay in slow lane, nice "normal" starts, etc) I have been averaging around 32. Since your data (and about 200 other threads worth on here) supports mine I can now shut down the experiment and go back to fun driving! Just had to try it myself to believe there was such a difference I guess.

My first 2 tanks have been 32 mpg (gas cubby verified) and I've basically done 75 to 80mph on 700 miles of interstate (the other 400 has been local driving or WV highway). Very impressed with the mileage.
