It makes sense certain rebates can only be used for a set amount of time.

As a side note, your post was very hard to read.

Yeah, I believe the college rebate limits you to a 60 month term. On the bright side, they kinda HAVE to come up with terms that you agree with, otherwise you just got a free weekend rental of a brand new (not anymore) car lol

From the limited information you've provided, though, i'd venture that you do in fact OWN the car, it is yours. What's at issue right now is how much you'll owe and how long you're gonna be paying out.

Unless you didn't actually sign any form of contract, which is weird, but you may have lucked out?

Why don't you just ask the dealership to clarify the terms and call it a day.

You sure you graduated from college?

If you already signed, they messed up. You shouldn't have to raise your monthly payment and shorten the time of the contract for their mistake. don't sign more papers unless you get a lower payment. If its the same payment for a shorter term, by all means let them knock a year off your payments

That is dangerous advice my friend, never negotiate based on a monthly payment, that allows room for balloon payments at the end of the term.

agree. i had my dealer go through 4 different contracts because they kept fucking up. so if the original deal was in your favor go with that. their finance rep will have to eat that $500. my gf's dad is that guy when he works at dealerships and he says thats where you can be "swindled"

sry for thr lower case.... fractured my thumb and typing sux.
