When the car arrives on the dealers lots we will find out for sure if it comes with or without steelies.Right now it's all speculation. Can't we all just get along?

This whole FORUM is speculation.
Should we all just stop talking?

At that point, it may as well just be a website without forums.

Toyota didn't get to be the largest car manufacturer in the world by NOT doing market research. I can pretty much guarantee that they will at least browse this forum for some kind of demographic and pricing information.

Only 400,000 friends? Well, I have... 500,000 friends.

But, I do believe that Biggie statement to be true. I can see some of Toyota designers see these kinds of forum for some kinds of advice and ideas.

No steel rims are heavy, I would take some light weight 16's though.

I am sure as hell hoping to pull off the lot rocking steelies! I'll use them for the summer so I can get to know the car while destroying the tires and then put Blizzak's on in the winter, and at that point I'll start my search for suspension and summer wheels/tires = $1000 saved on 17's from the factory that I do NOT want.

From the Toyota manual, don't know if we'll get something like this. I know they sell something similar for the TC here.

I can't tell if that interior is brown or not. I would have no problem with that if it were the case.

Yes they did 2007 & 2008 MY. Originally, it was aimed for hard core tuners and track cars, but 10 of the 11 Spec tCs I saw in L.A. were sold to 16-19 year-olds whose parents otherwise would have bought them an xB. The 11th Spec I saw actually was a track car.

I doubt we'll see another Spec model from Scion, but I'm sure we will see club racer from TRD compete with FIA-approved roll cage.

I don't understand all these upset people that are saying don't this don't that, if you don't like the bare bone option, then don't buy it! Yes it's that simple. lol

No dealer would be stupid enough to put a bare bone model for display anyways.
