Well yes and no. The Outback shared a platform (not a chassis) with the Legacy and the STi is still on the really old Impreza chassis.
This is 2020 so now the Outback is built on the same platform as the Impreza, Legacy, Forester, Crosstrek and Ascent. The STI will be soon as well.

Yeah I don't swaps with 2020 stuff so I have no idea this gen haha.
