So, RCE with "latest sets" spoke about MP22, not MP21? So "new" - 5kg/mm springs, that were optional choice for MP21, now default? Or it's "We make sure to specify that at this point" - that is still option one needs to ask for when ordering?
AFAIK
MI20: 6kg square & included camberplates in set
MP20: "new" with 4kg front, 3kg rear, camberplates became optional
MP21: should be same as MP20, but TUV certified and with extra rubber seats for NVH (though according one MP21 manual seems that defaults might be not 4/3, but 4 square, and funny, but recommended spring preload also differs even for front with same rates.). And one could optionally order with 5kg square rates.
MP22: 5kg square by default, or not?

Seems PITA to hunt for specs that simply should be listed in product description page or linked docs on manufacturer website.

RayRay88: i recall seeing someone saying that usually good coilover valving should be able to accomodate +/-30% spring rate change. But i don't know for sure, if MP2* shocks still have same valving as MI20 had or not, saw contradicting info on that. If track on sticky tires is priority, imho custom valving might be better option. Or something like these BTO ones with 9/7 rates .

I wonder what might changes be. So far more or less get what differences are between previous versions of MI20, MP20, MP21. Would appreciate for someone to post what's new in MP22.

They removed the included top mount parts> lowered the spring rates from 6/6 to 4/3 > readjusted the valving again and then added rubber spring seats.

Because they've changed so much, we just always specify exactly what we want.

I would like to run some aggressive 200TW or less tires (RE71r/A052) on these and I want to make sure the 5/5k spring rates will support that while the car still functions as a daily driver with the occasional track day.

I would also like to know if the valving on these dampers support 6k/6k or 7k/7k spring rates or would that be really pushing them beyond their intended use?
With those tires I would recommend stiffer rates than 5k/5k but they'll still work well. The dampers will easily support 6k/6k. They'll support 7k/7k fine but that might be close to their limit.

Just remember their shift to more of the road side of the road&track equation. Totally fine for occasional track days. Great coilovers, just a little less flexible than they could be in certain ways.
