Tentatively next week. Front timing cover needs to be resealed.

Wow. That is some serious plumbing. Is the AC condenser still mounted, I can't tell.

Yup, AC condenser still on the car.

The car above has a Koyo radiator and it made installing the kit more difficult as there was less clearance. A small portion of the air guide had to be grinded down. I suspect my install will be smooth without issues since the radiator is still stock.

Install done. Since I was taking pictures every other step, it took about 2 hours longer than normal.

If you wanted to do this in your garage without a lift, expect about 4-6 hours of install time, maybe less. With a lift I estimate it will take about 3-4 hours tops.

Road testing and track usage to follow.

Did you run into any issues during the install? How were the provided instructions?

A few of the sites selling this kit claim that because it's intended for RHD JDM cars that there's a bracket or clip missing on USDM cars and that a workaround must be used.

Can you shed any light on this?

I will do a complete writeup later on this week. I can tell you that the instructions were 100% accurate for my car (Subaru BRZ) and that there were zero issues with installation.

You do have to remove a few things from the car, but it's pretty straightforward once you start the process. Me being able to read katakana and kanji helps, though...

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is there any potential danger to flying objects/road debris/rocks/metal/toddlers coming through the front bumper opening and hitting the slightly exposed oil lines?

Lines? No, there's nothing exposed.

As for the core itself, it's like any other oil cooler mounted in the front bumper. If you are paranoid about that, the air guide that Blitz has allows you the ability to mount your own custom metal mesh in front for added protection.
