I do have to admit, saw the thread title and almost shed a tear thinking something bad happened to your car.

This. Every time I get into another car, be in 2015 rogue, CX-5, corolla, everything feels like crap, more car companies need to make steering more communicative and precise it's a way better experience for the driver

Remember that 99.98754786% of the drivers do not want a "better" experience. They in fact want no experience when driving. What we like the most of our steering would scare the crap out of many people and irritate the rest. Not trying to sound elitist but most people want no feel from their cars at all. Hell, even some here complain about the feel of the steering, the rough ride and the road noise and they should know why these exist.

I let a buddy of mine who used to drive beemers and now owns a mercedes drive mine. He wiggled the wheel, took a couple sharp turns, and said "Wow, this feels like a go kart!"

I said "Exactly! I've been describing it that way since day-1!"

I think I hooked another one.

You need to think on a bigger scale. Got my third referral gift card from the dealership yesterday. It was another one of the cops I talked to in various parking lots so that is 3 out of 4 so far. My ultimate goal is to get them all driving one so I can do whatever I want.

In the U.S. trying to suggest things to cops would probably get you shot

In all the conversations I had the cops approached me and asked about the car. Two of them bought me coffee during our chat and one stuck around the cottage so long I thought I was going to have to have him stay for dinner.

Yet another reason to love Canada. I make it a point to genuinely say "Hi" to cops. I'm one of those guys that greets everyone who makes eye contact.

I have yet to get an actual friendly response in return. Hope springs eternal.

Oh don't get me wrong we have our **** cops like anyplace else. They are usually the young or female ones though.
