Yep, your good. The BBS used factory style nuts that are the same as the FR-S/BRZ nuts.

I had PMed a member on here that said he had two sets of these and I was trying to see if I could buy a set off him. He explained that they would require 5mm spacers. Now that I know a little bit more I can reasonably assume that those wheels have an offset of 53mm and stock is at 48mm. A gentleman from one of the tuning companies on this forum put the stock WRX wheels on the BRZ and from what I understood the car isn't really drivable as is. The front wheel has a 1/8th inch gap between the strut.

Don't need spacers. A few FR-S/BRZ already out there with 11/12 WRX wheels/tires which are same as 04 STi wheels.

However you could run 5mm spacers if you wanted too...

hmm been driving for about a week now, so far so good.. the fit with the front shock is close..but not rubbing.. just worried about the wheel nuts if anything, but ive been re-torquing the wheel nuts down occasionally and they dont seem to have loosened at all.. lol 53 offset doesnt exactly make for a flush fit, but atleast i dont have to drive with those stock wheels anymore..

Incorrect; ONLY 2004 STI BBS wheels are 5*100. Furthermore they are 17*7.5 +53 versus wider 17*8 +53 that come on later years.

That would have been me. I still don't have my car so I can't verify the spacers, but you are correct; they are 53mm offset versus the stock 48mm. Using the 1010tires calculator I figured it would reduce inboard clearance by about 11mm, which is kind of a lot. The gentleman below reports not having problems, so while it may be "tight" it might still be "right". I'll get back to you about whether or not I'm selling them, if you're still interested.

I remembered it was you, I just didn't want everyone blowing up your PM box trying to buy the wheels in case I still want them
