Been up since 4 am. Got a big ol' pork butt on the smoker. Gonna do some pulled bbq sandwiches with some slaw tonight.

Since I was up I spent the morning working on the Evo. Made a DIY smoke tester using a soldering iron, a pickle jar,, cotton socks, a bicycle tire pump, and mineral (baby) oil. Worked great but I didn't find any boost leaks.

I've had a sneaking suspicion it might just be a bad tune but, was a bit in denial since the company has a stellar reputation in the crowd. The car felt much stronger stock with just a drop in panel filter and an off the shelf canned tune. Since then I did full bolt-ons which should squeeze the car just under the 380whp. I guess next step is to schedule a tune with another shop and start chasing down a rattle.

lol, that was when i went to bed! i finally downloaded forza 3 (i've tried on and off since 2017, every time it wants to download at 200kb-500kb, estimating to take upwards of 3-4 weeks to download), and got 'lost'.. slept through all of my alarms this morning.

How is Forza 3 ? I was pretty bummed with a couple of their games, the physics of the cars never felt up to par with the likes of AC and it would bug the shit out of me.

I was up till about that time too. Went and had a cigar and a beer with a couple friends and couldn't wind down.

All week I have been wanting to get a good squat session in. Last week I was unable to due to metatarsalgia. This week all 4 of the racks were either being used for the entire time I was working out or were empty but I was on duty. Today I hit the breaking point when I came in solely to overhead press and squat. I was unable to do either and became irrationally angry. Then, my buddy came to the rescue and we went to our own little private place at his business. Life is good now

How many sets of jack stands do you have?

I have only been able to do squats and leg press with light weight for the last few weeks. I wadded up pretty hard on my mountain bike and landed on a rock the size of a small child right on my hip and upper thigh. Surprisingly most other motions are okay, just slight discomfort.
