Oh, what kind of insight? Is it the over the top "please don't sue" approach, the underwhelming "you can't sue us for this, our lawyers said so" approach, or the "we totally really care about you, here are some people we pay the listen to your problems so we don't have to" approach?
I had been looking to move as I was getting tired with the "politics" at my old employment. I did have 'skirting around subject' exchanges with @humfrz on this forum.

The opportunity arose with my new employer, I thought I'd give it a go. Same industry, less travelling, more UK based.

As for their approach dealing with the crisis, it's a very caring, sharing, we are in this together. News bulletins almost every day, top management taken a 20%reduction in their salaries. They're a Fortune 500 company and very staff focused, they want to keep the staff but I feel that they may consider furloughing staff..

Getting good staff once they're gone is a very expensive exercise that I'm sure they won't want to play out.

Yeah I got a 25% pay cut and a shitty schedule but 85% of our pilots got furloughed so I guess I should be thankful?

Lol sounds like my job change last year. I left my old company for the same reason. Plus the new job kind of landed in my lap at the perfect time, with less travel and more money.

I guess I'm just cynical regarding large companies. I used to work for a Fortune 500 and the lip service was usually just that.

But good luck and hope that works out!

Congrats!

Welcome to the club!

I was in week 2 of my new job when we received the news that we'd be working from home indefinitely. Since the first week was just orientation and stuff it made things very interesting.

Can't say I'm enjoying the process.. :\ But it is what it is.

that battery location sure looks annoying. the ta06 just looks like an annoying layout that they had too many ideas, but couldn't really make up their minds on any of it. belt driven front, but gear-driven rear, inboard front suspension, typical rear suspension...

it's no tt001...

Yeah I have been looking at some TT02 based cars instead. I started looking at the TA06 chassis and it looks convoluted. Or I may just buy a 4wd short course truck and convert it to an on-road.

Thank you It wasn't a sudden thing, my legs were like that for many long years. My sister had the same operation lately. If she didn't warned me about it, I would never go to a doctor; since I was thinking it's nothing important, and don't mind the bad look of my legs. My grandmother had suffered a brain damage, which right now I'm pretty sure that because of the same thing. I wish I could turn the time back.

Oh great idea However, I might be little too sexy for road cycling competitions

That reminds me of a back-in-the-day story about mrs humfrz's cooking when she was my fiancée. After my ex took off, I was living in a large house with my two sons. They were complaining that the only thing that I cooked was hamburgers, fried chicken or pot roast.

So, my fiancée, now mrs humfrz, invited us over to her condo to have supper with her and her daughter. After a meal of broiled fish and salad, my youngest son came up to me and asked if we could go home now, and eat some real food, because he was still hungry.

Sorry to hear that and was sweating it for you hoping you'd stay on. So many narrow body junior FO's were furloughed just when they thought they had their golden ticket with all the pending retirements. At least you still have your head in the clouds and it doesn't get much better than that.
