No. I'm referring to the 4R kit that uses all 1.62 pistons. Again, listed just below the OEM.

Those are piston sizes for the 3 different Wilwood 4R calipers available, not measurement for a single caliper i believe

Correct. If they used a redial mount caliper there are even more sizes available but they only take a 16mm pad and smaller rotor.

@SakeBomb Garage any interest in discussion on the kit? I mean you paid the vendor fees and have been on a few times since the thread started but still silent.

I'm sure there are many interested in a proper bbk at this price point but we need more info to know if the kit is the best solution. Can't make that decision with only marketing talk and no data.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late reply... we've been doing a tour of local tracks with our shop FD and S2000... and finishing up some NSX parts testing. Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you guys! Obviously everyone wants additional information on us and the brake kits we offer for the BRZ platform... it's tough entering a new community where customers don't already know you.

If you guys have any buddies with S2000's, FD's, or Miatas (our sister company is MiataSpeed.com) please ask them for references... we build competitive track components for many popular track cars, and are hoping to bring our expertise to the BRZ platform as well. We've had great luck on our shop BRZ at the track with the brake setups we've engineered, as well as some custom (upcoming) Ohlins "FPSpec" suspension, and an upcoming BRZ/FRS Oil cooler kit

As far as common questions:
Rotor Weight: 16.95lbs (directional curved vane)
Piston Size: 41.15mm (piston sized for optimal bias using OEM rear brakes)
Pads: 20mm thick!! 43mm or 50mm tall *depending on manufacturer

We work and engineer our parts directly with Ohlins, Greddy, Wilwood, Edelbrock, Ecutek, AP, Setrab, Recaro, etc. and do considerable amounts of engineering and product development for the chassis we support. We're happy to finally bring our chassis / engine tuning capabilities to the BRZ platform. We've got custom suspension components,

Some notable first place wins we're proud of:
1st Place 2017 Nationals - SCCA STR (ND)https://www.miataspeed.com/blogs/new...l-championship

1st in Class - 200km Targa Tasmania 2016 (FD)

Hey Everyone,

We really appreciate the support on our Wilwood Trackday BBK!

Currently $1395!

We've restocked from the first run and are getting back stocked up here at the shop.

We want to give a $200 store credit towards any other purchase storewide from suspension to superchargers upon purchase of a BBK! On top of that, if you do a review here on the forums or to a Facebook group, we'll throw in an extra $50.

Store credit good for 60 days from purchase!

The brake kit that keeps on giving!

Two quick questions @SakeBomb Garage

1) Is there an ETA for your SBG Competition Rear Brake System that you had mentioned is coming in your front brake kit? Looking to purchase both as a kit if it's coming out soon.

2) Is there a template for your kit?

Thanks!

Define, what is meant "good for daily drive" to you. I guess, that these, if they are designed with brake bias close to stock, and so do most aftermarket BBKs, will do the actual job of braking good enough for daily driving too.
Limitations/problems linked to race brake setups are usually limited to problems with corrosion (lack of dust boots on many race calipers, as they often are quick to burn off on heavy track use/high temps anyway, +and due dual piece dissimilar metal rotors of aluminum & iron) in salty environments (eg. winters in places where salt is used to deal with snow & ice). And also that they often might be noisy/squeeling (it's more dependent on pad choices though, as street pad compounds have lower operating temps, thus easier to be heated enough to bed them, but more track oriented pads have higher temp range, and often hard to bed due too low temps with daily driving light brake usage if driving within speed limits. Due more heat capacity and better cooling of BBKs, that problem of too low temps for bedding might be propagated even more). Third reason might be worse wheel clearance, requiring sometimes to get bigger wheels set and/or longer studs&spacers to get better clearance for particular BBK. And of course extra money you need to spend on BBK, if you have "for free" perfectly sufficient for daily driving OE brakes. If these reasons matter to you, it's up to you to decide.
