Bummer. I know how much that sucks. GF used to work weekends where I was M-F so doing anything was a pain

Fuck man so hard to find snow tires in 215/45R17. It was either Yokohama iceGUARD ig52c, Michelin X-Ice Xi3, or Conti WinterContact SI.

I went with JDM this time around. I wanted sporty winter tires but then again I got to be able to climb a few unplowed steep roads for the work commute.

OK, I’m up from ma nap. The drums are getting louder, so I took my white pony down by the river to the reservation. My interpreter, Bubba’s wife, happens to be a Salish squaw.

The elders were sitting around a large lodge fire, telling back-in-the-day stories, which have been passed down through the generations. The medicine man (who owns the Pot Shop) spoke of his vision from the spirit world.

He said that a couple of white eyes from the land east and north of the big lakes, which lie far to the east, were coming this way. As the story goes, they are descendants of the white eyes that came in the big ships many ah moon ago, looking to trade [they are referring to the Hudson Bay Company].

They are still pissed that the traders just gave them discount store beads and trinkets. But, they are REALLY pissed, that during the last trading session, the white eyes, led by a man they called sqaltumiah-naks-utsus (man with hair growing under nose), took the furs to the big sailing ships ……. but, did NOT return with any beads and trinkets.

So, for the last three generations, they have been getting even by building a big lodge, with many games of chance, on the reservation, near Puyallup, to get their fur trade deficit made right.

That’s all for now.

I'm back in NY this week, learning more stuff everyday! Love the new work place

This time I'm planning to adventure around. I'm wondering where I should go first, I've already been to the tourist places. I want to try some good food place or do something the locals do.

...without getting mugged and robbed ofcourse.

Adventure you say? Check out "Cubbyhole" or "The Cock"... the local patrons will gladly welcome an out of towner looking for adventure...

Or if you are really adventurous check out Paddles NYC, Madame X, 124 Old Rabbit Club, The Box, The Eagle, Russian Vodka Room, Lips, Virgola, The Woods, ...

Wonders abound for innocent people new to the city! It could change your life!!! You can learn even more stuff than you want to!

P.S. Google is your friend

Who'd have thought that Hall and Shattenkirk would be leading my fantasy team this week? Unbelievable.

Also pretty sweet that I just picked up Hyman. What an excellent sleeper pick.

it sucks trying to find the right transmission for a high powered 86. i don't know where to look, or what i even should be looking for.

on the bright side, we cleaned out the garage, and managed to fit both our cars inside
