Regrading the RS, ya I've lurked in NASIOC and the RS forums and have seen hints of that and/or buyers remorse. I'm figuring there would be some decent options a year from now.
Yeah and all the bugs and such should be worked out. Not to mention tuners will have had time to really dig into stuff.

How did you like it? I owned a 350z with full bolt on and really enjoyed it. I was really considering a 370z too.

i loved it...i might feel a little different about it if i drove it again being so used to the light weightness of the fr-s because it does weigh more but man it was a blast to drive even though i had the stock base model with paddle shifters...it gripped the road extremely well and the V6 engine had plenty of power

if you can find a sport tech model with low mileage and a clean title i would definitely go for it

The WRX is a great car but like some of the reviews said it's a jack of all trades, but a master of none. Therefore it's good at a lot of things but great at none. With that said it's still one hell of a car for the money.
Too bad it isn't a coupe and a little sportier. At least it's moving away from the typical Subaru style.

Agreed! Here's a render of what it might look like. Really wish they would make it a coupe too.

And here's a random current gen wrx that I love just for the hell of it!

I might be returning to the 86 family!

I'll take AWD turbo all day long over what I have now.

You must be new with Subaru & their concept cars.

Glad to have you back Raven.

Ha ha yeah they always manage to let everyone down...I mean most concepts do but they try extra. And thanks bud! I should know for sure tomorrow what's going on. The car was in great condition other than some minor paint issues.

Hey Raven1231 !

Awhile back I started a thread on comparing my 2016 WRX to the 86

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99730

I got a lot of good feedback from you. I'm happy to see that you're leaving the WRX to the 86 because that was my decision as well. I have since sold the 2016 WRX because I never could come to like it. I am currently looking to by an 86 at some point. The cash for it is available but I'm at a turning point in my life and things aren't settled yet. Also I saw the pictures of the 2017 BRZ and that along with the small mechanical changes totally blew me away. Now I'm considering getting a 2017 BRZ. A bit over my planned budget but will see how it goes.

I did previously drive the 86 and loved it.

I bought an ultramarine frs with 27k miles last month for a little less than that. Seems reasonable to me. Just make sure when they go to "detail" it for you and fill it with fuel, that they don't cheap out and go with 87 octane. I wasn't pleased.

Thanks man! and yeah I've honestly missed it essentially ever since I got rid of it. I do like the wrx and it definitely has its benefits but I really miss having a lightweight, RWD car that I can rev out and not worry about. Not to mention if I can lower my payment also it's a win win!

If I weren't looking to lower payments I'd definitely consider the new BRZ as well. It looks much better and the totality of improvements seems well worth it.

Yeah, completely get that ha ha. I also just recently found a 2014 Raven FR-S 6mt with 18k miles that's certified and comes loaded with TRD parts, that I'm going to look at as well. It's also right around $17k. Plus, you get the warranty perks that come with it being certified.

Where? I totally won't steal it out from under you! Black (Raven?) was the color I wanted, but nothing fit. I saw this one, and fell in love. Except my first car, I've never had a car other than in black!

Go for the certified!!
