I'll take AWD turbo all day long over what I have now.
Yeah it was a disappointment that it come out looking like the concept. I think they're trying to save money but also appeal to a larger audience.

Thanks man! Yeah,. Currently financing through a credit union.

^like Finch said, have an independent party like a mechanic you trust to look it over. I was in a similar situation about a year ago and was thinking of trading the BRZ for a WRX (I've owned 2), but the driving experience was just never the same, so the money went into FI instead

Your color choice is wrong, do a favor and find it in hot lava color. Glad you will come back

This was my original plan before I picked up the WRX. What kit did you end up going with? And how are you liking it?

The WRX is a great car but like some of the reviews said it's a jack of all trades, but a master of none. Therefore it's good at a lot of things but great at none. With that said it's still one hell of a car for the money.
The love child of a Volvo and a Hyundai. Better than the current car, but not distinct at all really.

I was pretty dead set on a JRSC until I made the mistake of driving an Edelbrock. Perfect fit for my driving style/needs and couldn't be happier. Lots of usable mid-range torque for passing on the freeway without down shifting or just staying in 3rd on a canyon road, just "point & squirt" (although now my heel-toe technique has suffered greatly )

I'm actually shopping around for a sedan again since we are planning on having a 2nd kid in the near future, so the WRX/STI is back on the radar (or a FoRS if I can find one near MSRP).

Awesome! I figure I'll run the OFT E85 tune for sometime and then if I decide I want more power again instead of going bolt on's like last time I'll just go FI. It will save me a bunch of wasted time and money.

The WRX is an awesome car and very practical. From what I'm hearing about the RS on NASIOC it doesn't seem to be worth its retail.

Yeah, I'm not even sure I like it better than the current car. At least the current model somewhat resembles an EVO x ha ha.

Trust me I looked at that too ha ha. It's high mileage though sitting at 103k and they're asking 16k for it. What really got me though was it was an auto but someone put a manual shift boot over the shifter....Had me fooled until I got in.

OFT would be a good start (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2689908)

Regrading the RS, ya I've lurked in NASIOC and the RS forums and have seen hints of that and/or buyers remorse. I'm figuring there would be some decent options a year from now.
