Nice tool but not sure of the accuracy.

Example, I have 9.5 +45 i rear and it pokes a few MM. According to the calculator I am still 14mm inside the fender.

You sir , are a god amongst men. Extremely helpful,

Tire stretch factor would be a plus, similar to http://www.willtheyfit.com/ (even tho different tire brands stretch different) . Also if youre up for the challenge, id like to see lowering variables up to 5 or 6 inches lower rather than 3 max. Might be a help to include a Rolled rear fender/Stock rear fender option as well.

the Camber option might confuse a few people fitment wise. In the calculator, the camber angle pivots at the center of the hub but i believe in our cars might not be the case. in the rear, LCA/camberbolt camber i think would pivot at where the knuckle attaches to the upper control arm, and for rear camber bushings would pivot where the knuckle attaches to the LCA. Front would be camber bolts/notched coilover lower mounts/LCA/camber plates all having different pivots.

i might be wrong about the camber pivoting points maybe someone can chime in?

Hey, I also have 9.5 +45 with a 1.5" drop, -1.7 camber and it pokes slightly. I wanted to keep things consistent with the 'known' information I have researched, but would be happy to add in more datapoints to make it more accurate.

Something I was considering doing is adding in a 'certification', where people can confirm the size selected is 100% compatible. Green means 100%, orange means there's people confirming it fits and people confirming it doesn't fit, red means there's people confirming it doesn't.

Hi all, as mentioned, I am happy to announce a big new feature to this tool: the ability to verify a fitment. (good or bad)

Please feel free to enter your FT86 username, and (in)validate the setup selected. This will greatly help out the community, but please be respectful and only vote on values you KNOW and have seen first hand. I want to keep the data as clean as possible.

Thanks!

I worked for DTC for 15 years, this is a great application with much room for expandability ie.... suspension clearances. Great job

Thank you. I'm happy to contribute more to this project. Hopefully this new 'voting' system will aid people in determining their choice of wheel, and not completely rely on a visual graph which isn't 100% accurate, especially in regards to suspension clearance.

I have updated with up to -15 offset. Any more than that, and I'll have to redesign the form, which I don't feel like doing right now.

@itdansharpe, how much clearance do you have from the stock strut housings with the wheel/tire setup you're running? I'm looking to go 18x8.5 +45 F and 18x9.5 +45 R with 225/40R18 F and 255/35R18 R and Eibach Sportlines. Are you running any aftermarket camber adjustment?

1) Front clearance is pretty tight. Best guess is around 1/4".

2) No. My rear camber is acceptable to me (around -1.5'), although when I switch to coilovers down the road I will adjust camber/toe/etc.

Thanks for the questions.

Hi all, I recently added in the ability for users to vet their fitments, but the user results were only showing exactly what you specified. I've modified it to show a broader range of results based solely on the width of the tire, and the tire diameter.

For example, camber, offset, placement, and wheel width are no longer factors in showing other users' results. You can then hover over a specific user and find out their camber, ride height, etc.

Enjoy.
