Oh Gottcha! That makes sense then. How much does the trim flex? Once it's in position I don't see why it would move around and distort the paint.

The trim shape is plain and bumper grille is closest near 40° when curve on the two lower sides.

Humm would this work for turning the screws all the way down? (this comes with my Victorinox SwissTool from STI)

I just tried to stick my fat hand into the grill and I don't even think I would have that kind of reach sigh forget it.

Yeah I think after the initial bite you could torque them down with that. Hopefully you have small hands or know someone with small hands!

Yea the most I can stick into the front bumper vents are two fingers so it won't work out, my gf might just drop the ratchet into the rad altogether unless I tie a fishing line to it lol!

I ended up removing my bumper to do mine. My AUDM bumper had a small plastic air guide screwed into the mounting points for the bracket which I had to remove in order to install the emblem. Maybe you could raise the front, remove the plastic under tray and access it from below ?

Where does it say that? I remembered trying to look for a marking on the box and on the exhaust but didn't find any. Just curious.
