New Enkeis Plasti Dipped Pearl White

So I picked up these wheels here on the forum. The BRZ is actually my girlfriend's daily driver and she wanted pear white wheels. I had plasti dipped wheels before so I thought I'd give it a go.

I layed down 2 coats of black, 3 coats of white, 3 coats of pearlizer, and 2 coats for blue metalizer. It actually has tiny blue sparkles in it that you cant see on the picture.

pretty clean job. did you tape the lug nuts? how'd you get the tape off without having it pull the paint around it inside the lug holes?

That looks really really nice!

BUT....

Knowing how dirty white wheels can get from brake dust, how hard is plasti dip to clean without tearing it? Think they will last awhile?

Good job they look great. Those wheels really suit the car btw, what model are they and what size/offset? Did you just peel the overspray off the tyres?

If you do enough coats it will last a long time. I had done my Camaro's Wheels and it lasted 6 months without tearing. I traded it in so idk could have lasted longer. It's easy to clean with break dust pro. You spray it on wait for 15 mins then hose it off and tada! you have clean wheels. check out www.dipyourcar.com It's where I learned to plasti dip and get all my supplies from.

Nice work, how are they holding up? Would you do the white again or are/were there any issues like knicks, peeling or otherwise? I'm not real clear how long I should expect this to last.

Looking to do this to my RPF1s I bought from friend. They're silver, I wanted black. Price was right though and they came with a set of Yoko sticky summer tires.

This is perfect way to get that without the commitment of painting them and having to paint prep the original wheel surface with a scotch bright. I will pull my wheels off if I do it.
