Not this one. My other one does. Don't get me started on that POS sunroof. I'm about to the point of getting some good tape and sealing it shut.

great idea.

i know for a fact that moon roof/sun roof drains constantly get clogged, and can sometimes have a similar water-sloshing symptom if it's plugged near the bottom of the system.

I've been dealing with the drain tubes since I bought the truck new in 2005. First winter it started raining on me while driving. I took it back to the dealer and ended up the rear drain tubes weren't even connected. I use compressed air to clean out the front tubes all the time. You can't get to the rear tubes without dropping the headliner. Problem is, besides not being able to make a sunroof that SEALS, is the drain tubes are barely bigger than drinking straws. They get clogged very easy.

The noise with the other truck is a "while engine is running" noise.

I'll guess air in the heater core. My Eclipse was a PITA for that.

Our Suburban has had that issue as well, along with not being able to be 100% sure the sunroof is closed. I have seriously considered welding a plate over the thing in some decorative fashion. I hate sunroofs, never had one from any manufacturer that didn't cause an issue at some point.

But been going on for weeks now? I've ran heater several times. No leak.

As long as nothing is going wrong, nothing to do.

Actually, It wouldn't magically just start taking air. Would have to be from a drain & fill. I'll change my guess to clogged ac water drain.

My exact magic guess. I'm going to run the shit out of the a/c and see what happens.

It'll overflow from the tray and get your carpet wet. Maybe try to blow it out of the drain tube? I never liked that idea because it just blows the clog up into the tray. I haven't had to clear one but I figured I would try to suck it out with a big ol' syringe.
