Welp, the day care deck for the granddaughters is ready for the summer. The 3 year old gets the 250 gal pool, the 10 and 12 year olds get the 1,000 gal pool.

Yep, that totals 1,250 gallons of water (10,375 pounds or 5.1 tons of weight) on a 35 year old deck, one story off the ground. Not to worry, the granddaughter's father (a carpenter) reinforced it.

Let the summer games begin -

Well, now, there, soundman98, it appears you are well versed on the installation procedures for a HVAC system. So, you might as well DIY -

Just remember, their are two kinds of people in the world - the ones who have had a gas appliance blow up in their face and the ones that haven't.

(I just made that up - )

I've been frustrated with the floppiness of the drive line since day one. It's not just a little bit bad. For an alleged "sports car," it's atrocious. I've spent time studying it just by backing the car onto ramps, rocking it back and forth in gear, and watching deflection from underneath. The two main contributors are the engine mounts and the front diff mounts. There are a few different choices for engine mounts providing varying degrees of stiffness. The STI mounts are reputed to live in the sweet spot.

As for the diff mounts? Ugh. I dropped the hammer on a Cusco product but still feel like I could've done just as well by making shims from an old tire.

I was surprised by the difference the STi mounts made - especially with the header hitting the undertray (Ace350), and without adding noticeable NVH. Diff mounts added noise, but between those and subframe inserts, launches are better and I can feel what's happening so much better.

That reminds me though, I need to readjust the reverse lockout stop - 2nd is playing hard to get, and I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't leave quite enough room.

I think you'll like them.

it's keeping my attention, and focuses on engine design from initial steam engine designs up to current road-going vehicles. but the series leaves air flight power for a different video.

OK, have you figured out where you are going furniture shopping?

Oh, yes, since you are now living in Idaho, you will need the appropriate furnishings -

We have our old stuff coming, but it will be pretty empty for a while. it is a lot bigger house. We are just buying what we need this year. Just bought a washer and dryer today, and looked at riding mowers.
