Nothing is shipping for a while yet, so still lots of time to find an extra two more (or 6 more) people. I'll be putting in the order around the 18th or 19th. I believe their goal is to start shipping in the last week of October. But, if the get them done early I'll post up a money request to get our order in earlier. I know that those of you, like me, can't wait to get this one on your car. Wish they could've been done a few weeks ago, so they'd be here for our track day coming up.

Speaking of which... Who all is coming on the 19th?
I'll be in Japan. Really wanted to go.

PS this is page 86 on our chat.

700km in the span of less than a week. Good job.
It took me considerably longer to rack that many clicks on.

I know the temptation to go past 4000 rpm (I had a few "accidental" revs past during my break in). You are almost half way there.

Make sure you pick up a touch up pen from the dealership, stone chips are unavoidable (especially if you DD it year round).

I think this car is almost getting to the same point as the Genesis coupes (or the millions of Mustangs on the road), where a decent percentage of the owners don't even really know/care about what they're driving. Over time there will be more and more non-enthusiasts who will buy this car because it looks cool, or they just like the colour of the model at the dealership, or they like the clearance incentives and get talked into it by a sales guy.

That'll happen with anything not a supercar. The only reason it didn't happen quicker for a car as inexpensive as these is because of the massive demand for them when they first hit the market. All the enthusiasts got in line, and we were the only owners for a while.

That's rough! A month in and someone hit and ran in a parking lot...$1,500.00 later and she's as good as new!
