Automobile Magazine has published its annual 2014 All-Stars List, which includes (in alphabetical order):

2014 Audi A7/S7/RS7
2014 BMW 3 Series / 4 Series

test drove one the other day. do not miss not having the manual at all. and omg the exhaust sound is too die for!!!

way out of the budget though and its doesn't feel as nimble as the 86. and its not something you would buy to mod to make it your own.

gf might be getting one next year, wouldn't mind taking it out top down on a sunny day!

Even if I could afford something that expensive I would still have my FRS in addition to those other cars

I think that's the first time I've heard a publication say the Twins look great. The UK mags seem unanimous in thinking the Twins drive great but look awful.

Modern Dual clutch flappy paddles are awesome and for quick times they are essential.

But the reality is, no automatic system, no matter how fast or how good can communicate with the driver like a classic manual setup.

I love the box in the R35 GTR for example, its not mine, but i do have a Audi S4 also with a fancy semi-auto system. Its fast. But ill take manual shifting any day of the week.

Its just one of those things. Race cars are not designed for driver fun, they are designed to go as quickly as possible. On the mountain run on the street id much rather have more fun then get there 30sec earlier.
