This is currently true for all of our Flash & Go tunes. Innovate and NA tunes are open loop on wide open throttle, and closed loop everywhere else.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

It will be interesting to see if a full closed lope innovate tune will gain more hp and tq or not.

If running open loop then they don't use the 02's feedback(@wot) so the AFR readings could be different based on temp, humidity and so on regardless of the target AFR set? Now if running closed loop(as in your tunes) it will monitor the 02 and allow corrections at WOT and hit he target AFR most of the times.

Trying to see if I understand what's going on here. Thanks.

That's correct. More than most of the time, unless something is seriously off, such as the front O2 failing, the AFR will always be correct and at target. In the event of the front O2 failing, the tune will resort to open loop again.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Sorry I'm a little confused. Is the v8.83 update apply to F&G tunes only?

And when you say that your tunes run CL correction almost 100% of the time, is this applicable to the Innovate tunes as well, or only on the F&G?

8.83 is the latest version for Innovate tunes only. 14.65 is the latest version for Flash & Go. Closed loop correction is currently only applicable to Flash & Go tunes.

Sincerely,

We are looking into implementing a closed loop fueling correction under WOT for the Innovate and possibly NA cars. Though I think this will be more of a safety precaution on these cars, more so than hitting target values since they are already so close.

So in the scenario where fueling is failing in some shape or form we are going to build in safety mechanisms, which can make the check engine light come on so you are aware there is a fueling issue.

Cheers,
William Knose

What's the average whp difference between your flash and go tune vs your custom dyno tune for a kit like the JRSC?

You'd be looking at a 5, maybe 10whp increase for a custom dyno tune at most. The Flash & Go has come quite a long way.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

I also saw you had higher octane maps. The JR map says it adjusts automatically with higher octane. How does yours work on higher octane?

Our tunes will also account for higher octane, and add timing in accordingly.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning
