I’m not a fan of Discord. I have it on my old Win7 gaming system. I have tried to load it on to my new Win11 system but it gets hung up at the log in screen. I type in the same email and password that works on the Win7 machine and it says welcome back but… both the email and password blocks show an error that they are wrong. I’ve spent hours, trying to fix this. I’ve read all the FAQ’s and forum threads and none of what I try works. Oh and trying to get a hold of a real live person to talk to is impossible!
I give up!

I blame Win11.
3 of my friends have gone to 11. They are the only ones who have problems with Discord and some games regardless of launcher/make. (Steam, Ubi, EA, Epic, GoG, etc)

Discord keeps getting hung up on launch. When that does happen its 50/50 its gonna CTD.
Keeps logging them out when it does launch sometimes. (They only have it on 1 comp and their phone)
All my other friends on 10 don't have these problems.

Discord works fine on Windows 11 for me. I just use the web browser though.

I use the full Discord client on WIN11, never had an issue. Of course, there are so many variables in what causes these types of things, it may not be WIN11 at all that's the problem.

Well I just tried to access the FT86 discord site on my old Win7 machine. I even tried the search function to find it. I got the "We've searched high and low and can't find that" error message.

So then I fired up Firefox and typed in Discord.gg/ft86 and wham there it was. BUT... I had this waving hand at the bottom of the screen telling me I had to complete the process. It wanted my cell number to send me a one time code. I did that, got the code, filled in the blanks and then it asked for my password. You guessed it. It tells me I'm WRONG! However, the page has loaded and I can read it. I don't see my Discord user name anywhere nor does it look like I can enter or reply so... WTF's up wit dat?

I had the big run around also. The site accused me of being a BOT then accused me of being a hacker and then it told me my e-mail address was wrong! I've only ever had ONE e-mail address!

I was about to give up, but, gave it one more try the next day. THEN it accepted me.
