I've always just used a rubber hose and have the wife at the pedals.

Isn't baby powder best for window seals and tracks?

I've tried graphite powder too but neither last. A good woman beats bleed kits every time.

Instructions unclear. Do I just look at her and say "Well is not going to drain itself"

I guess I should've worded it better. Yes, what size hose do I connect to the bleeder. I have tons of empty bottles I can just use to drain the old stuff.

I had a lot of dates where that line was used!

Kind of weird to have your first date with a guy that wants you to drain his clutch fluid.
Did they spill the fluid all over the place, or did they safely contain it. It is said that spillers are quitters.

I dunno. Doing a full flush and rebleed in 20 mins without having to explain when and when not to release the brake pedal is pretty nice.

+1

I actually just use mine as an air pump to pressurize. Yeah, I need to add fluid, but it beats cleaning it out afterwards.

Also, for the clutch I think I just used a tube zip tied to the screw with an inline check valve last time. Then just slowly pump the pedal. Was super cheap and it worked alright.

It could be a field mouse that got injured and tried to seek refuge near the wheel well or engine bay and then died. Which could make sense since I try to support as many natural pest hunters as I can, outside the house (Possums, yard snakes, owls, bats).
Check the cabin filter.

A mouse (assumed to have been anyway) nested on top of the cabin filter in my wife’s truck one weekend. Unfortunately, (for all involved) it chewed through the cabin filter. Monday morning she left for work and the fan made noise for a short time then was fine. That evening (after baking in the summer heat) the truck reeked.

Eliminated the stench by running the fan on recirculate for a couple hours (over a couple days) with an ozone generator ducted in the window.

The alternative was disassembling the dash and cleaning/replacing the climate control everything.

Only have to train her once if she's a keeper. Way less cleanup. We're still talking about brake fluid, right?

Maybe that is why I am still single.

Garage time is me time though.
