And now I start my car and everyone's like DUDEEE THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!!!! CAN YOU REV IT UP!?

So I reved it up and these guys are jumping and going crazy, I'm not gonna lie I felt like the biggest bad ass LOL, and now all these guys wanna go buy one now.

Same here. People keep asking how much they really pay me and I always reply "peanuts and candy".

They don't believe me when I tell them how much the car costs...

There is one McDonald's that i stop at on Friday nights on the way to my buddy's apartment and there is always the same guy working the drive thru who compliments my car.

Last Friday's exchange:

Drive Thru Guy: "You come through here like every other week, What kind of job do you have that you can afford a car like that and why the hell are you eating at mcdonalds?"

Me: "uh, it's just a toyota, it's really not that expensive"

DTG: "Seriously? That shit looks tight and that blue is bangin'" (100% verbatim on this line and Ultramarine FTW!)

Me: "Yeah I really like the blue as well"

I wish I knew how to take compliments better, I always say the dumbest shit when people compliment my car lol.

Another gas station attendant the other day:

Guy: My buddy has an FR-S - the only difference between that and this is the all wheel drive, right? That and this has the boxster engine, I know he doesn't have the boxster.

Me: No they are both rear wheel. Same Boxer engine and drivetrain, just the bumper some interior stuff and minor suspension tweaks.

Guy: oh really? It's cool man.

ME: thanks (still loling internally on the boxster misnomer)

Personally I blame Porsche.

I also had an encounter at mcdonalds.
*At the pick up window.
him: nice car man! how do you like it?
-me: I like it, its not fast but it handles very good.
him: is it comfortable?
-me: It's comfortable to me.
him: but the seats are hard.
-me: I like firm seats.
**I see my food being placed next to him ready to be given to me**
him: but is it comfortable?
-me: it's not a lexus but it isn't that bad.
him: I want it comfortable.
-me: get a genesis
him: I don't like hyundai
-me: get a 370z
him: I don't like nissan
-me: get a g37
him: I don't like infiniti
-me: get a is350
him: I don't like lexus
**at this point I am looking at my food to signal him to get on with it**
him: I like subaru.
-me: try a wrx
him: I did, I don't like wrx, it's not that fast.
-me: did you drive the automatic?
him: yes, butttt......
-me: is that my food?
**he stutters as he tries to reconfirm my order**
