Overpipe or frontpipe?
Have a few questions.
I'm in the process of upgrading the header with highflow cat and replacing the catback. Also plan on replacing either the overpipe or the frontpipe with high flow cat in it. Keeping both cats ect to help with the overall noise. I was told that if doing the header the front pipe is a must. But is the front pipe going to make that big of a difference if the highflo cat in on there? Or would the stock front pipe work better in that case and just upgrade the overpipe?

I did catback and front pipe. If (when i do) i was going to do header, I'd prob do it all at once.

I got the nameless frontpipe/overpipe one piece combo with a built in highflow cat. Just felt like it made the most sense.

Right I'm asking since I have the funds for one or the other but not both at this time.

Does the high flo cat in the front pipe negate any benefits vs stock front pipe? Does most choose to just leave the 2nd cat out? I'm trying to manage sound levels enough with out loosing most of the gains that come with the upgrades in the first place.

If concerned about noise definitely keep both your cats, and yes a high flow cat front pipe will still get you gains over the stock front pipe.
Personally I did the catback first, will do header second, then tune, then front pipe followed by mid pipe (if I have funds and feel its necessary). |

Personally, I would wait until you have the money to replace both at the same time.

You can feel the front pipe alone, and it is louder than stock even with a cat. The overpipe only holds back 2-3whp, the front pipe seems to hold back more like 6-8whp.
The nameless one piece is nice, but it doesn't really free up any more power than a good two piece setup. It is cheaper though, with one less place for a potential leak in the future.
