I love my little town in the middle of nowhere. One of my biggest disappointments during the pandemic was Pepsi's decision to scale back or cancel a crap load of their products, including natural sugar sodas. I dawned on me that there is a handful of ethnic stores that support the local farm workers and those stores only carry natural sugar sodas. WooHoo! Orange, Lime, Pineapple, 7Up, Tropical Punch, and Coke. No Mountain Dew but I am happy enough with the selection.

I scrape popcorn ceilings and use a 4-inch utility knife or a drywall knife to chip away at the texture and create a smooth surface. I probably need to skim it with a thin layer of joint compound to smooth out imperfections, then I sand it smooth before repainting.
One more method is
Pre-taped Plastic Sheeting. Basically, one edge of the plastic sheeting already has tape attached. ...
This Backpack Style Sprayer is best to moisten the popcorn. Flexible Putty Knife to remove the popcorn.

Thanks, but no thanks. That is waaaaaay too much work. Even when I was younger, it would have been too much work.

Is it 1984 in Idaho? Sometimes, I wonder. I think it's 1949 in West Virginia.
