Hello,
Ive found this post which is a PDF guide to adjusting both the brake pedal and the clutch pedal. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32194 I'm interested in raising up my brake pedal as under very hard braking its actually under the gas pedal which makes Heel-toe very hard. The PDF states to loose the locking nut and then spin the rod. Well Ive been down there twice and cannot for the life of my loose this locking nut. Hoping some here has done this and can help me. Thanks. |

Looks like you didn't use the right wrench size or didn't grip it properly, what with the nut being partially stripped. It looks like there's some blue loctite there, so you'd need to apply a good deal of force. Also, try heating the bolt/nut with a blower or a small torch to loosen the loctite.

@Elliotw
If you have this problem, get rid of the Verus Pedal Spacer and get a pedal overlay instead (like the Cusco Sport Accel Pedal). The Verus spacer moves the accel pedal towards you, which is making it too high |

I use to have the pedal spacer but removed in favor of the SRP pedal cover. I am thinking maybe a crowfoot wrench might be good tool to get a good grip and brake(
![]() I've also ordered some SS brake-lines & SRP Pedal covers for brake & clutch which I noticed would effectively raise up the foot location. |
