Need help with nur spec side skirt removal and broken push retainer

Hey all, I just got a 2014 86 with the GTS aero kit and need to fix the right hand side skirt. It looks like a push retainer is broken at the head (the rest of it is stuck in the mounting hole). I would try pushing it out but I can't seem to see anywhere that I can retrieve the clips or access the other end of the clip from the underbody. The plan right now is to get a clip removal tool and hope that the side skirt does not break.

Does anyone have any tips on removing the side skirt? Thanks in advance.
