For aftermarket, time and averages are your warranty.... so for those of you with enough money for a new engine/engine rebuild enjoy the power, we appreciate you blazing the trail for the rest of us poor blokes who need to wait and see who's the first person to find the limit of the stock block.

First of all well done to Dale and the boys down at CHP, looks like they did a great job and it definately got my attention. They've put alot of effort into their kit and its worth what ever people are willing to pay for it.
Buuuuut... its not really that hard to make big power with FI, what people are looking for is reliable power, and only time will tell if this setup will have the longevity people wish for.

Is it a new platform (engine)? Absolutely. But folks are talking like nobody has ever made a god damn turbo kit in their lives, and they have spent the better part of the last 10 years perfecting the art of the FA20 turbo.

I tell you what, you give me a layout of each individual piece that is included in the kit, right down to the type of metals or other materials used. I will take the time out of my day to show you that the kit, while made of "high-grade" materials, is worth no more than $3500. (this is a rough estimate based on the above list) And that is at retail pricing.

I am not trying to get under anyone's skin, but I am just tired of folks blabbering on about how you will just have to pay for it because it's a new setup, or it's made with quality parts, which I don't doubt that it is. If you want transparency, just ask for it, and if the creator refuses or blows a gasket, there is a good chance there is a reason for it.

I great appreciate all the work that companies around the world are putting into this new platform, and I am just as excited as the next guy, but any business that can't say that they are trying to cash in on it is looney, lying, or both.

Have you priced it up yet? you will be lucky to get turbo and computer for 3k

I can't believe the BS in this thread directed at business in general. "More transperency with the pricing" WTF? What sort of business would or should have to do that? Australia like most Western economies is a capalitist society. If someone can buy/make something for $1 and sell it to a market for $100 then good on them.

While the guy is answering knob jockeys on here, he is loosing money. I can see why he wants people to call, so he can gauge if he is wasting his time just feeding info to someone not interested.

Obviously, I am in business as well (not automotive related) hence why this sort of shit gets my back up.
