The ICSCC schedule for 2019 has not yet been published but if we have enough cars it's possible we can piggy back on the HPDE/TNT days with the IRDC or with CSCC.

The tricky part is that any 'timed' event needs a specific type of insurance which means an organization would not cars in lapping-run groups that are genuinely competing for lap time. Or if there were enough of us to create a separate run group would the organization need to alter the insurance policy for that day and what/how much does that look like.

Thanks, I will try reaching out to them to see what they say. At worst I just get a no.

I'm interested in a NW 86Cup. I just picked up a 2013 FRS that I'll be building to T4 rules and racing with ICSCC next season. It would be great to get more people in the area competing with these cars and looking to race wheel to wheel in the future. The transition to racing isn't that big of a step for those that already use something else for daily driving.

Hi All

Long time no post. New job and all have been getting in my way. I haven't even had time to do anything with that turbo kit bolted to my spare motor in my garage before I put my car into storage

I have a call in meet that I am scheduling with Tom at Turn2 to talk about things. I would like to get that handled before to long. If it goes well I will get talking with 86cup, there was no point previously if we didn't have a track day org to run with, and get that going too. If I can get past that part, I would like feedback on how people would like to be contacted and updated. Facebook group would be easiest but I know that there are those that do not partake. I don't have a problem doing an email group and even snail mail if that is what it takes to keep everyone that is interested involved.

I don't facebook much, but I do have a ninja account just for buying local parts.
But I would be really interested if it's affordable. I'm actually setting up my car for autocross and some track nights at The Ridge next year.
thanks for doing this btw.

I appreciate your willingness to be flexible. Email, website, Skype, iMessage, yahoo groups, or even this thread... I'm pretty open to whatever isn't Facebook.

I think for this to have a chance everything needs to be communicated well and ahead of time. I dropped the ball a bit by not pushing this harder earlier but I made a huge and sudden life change earlier this year that I am still trying to adjust to. Getting it out to everyone on all the different channels isn't going to be too difficult as long as I can get the contact of everyone who is interested. It will be copy/paste, even if that paste is printed onto paper.

Sounds like I will be having a chat with Tom this Saturday which is a bit sooner then I expected.

I also don't have Facebook, so I'll be checking in here for details. I would recommend single event as there only seems to be a handful of people interested and at least 10 are probably needed. The month of May should be avoided as well as ICSCC race weekends.

Initial conversation went well but we got cut off. I'll be shooting Tom an email about the logistics on my end and setting up another call. Hope to have it hammered out with Tom soon but I feel very optimistic that we have a place to run. Also got a hold of CSG Mike as he is an 86cup admin and getting that part sorted soon.

No response for quite some time. I know he is busy but nothing to update.

I think this is dead again for now. I don't know what happened. Had a good conversation and then bam, no contact. He even mentioned he knows a guy at Aim and was open to buying Solo's and having them available as rentals if there was enough interest.
