The SF Auto Show has been somewhat of a disappointment for me the last few years... the manufacturers don't consider the SF show a significant show or market, because they never bring any of the new concepts or unveil anything new there. Pretty much everything you see there is what you can find by going into a dealership.

You're thinking of it all wrong Plato, think of it as going to all dealerships at once but instead of pesky salesmen asking about your trade in, you get models. And you can sit in any car you want, discussing the positives and negatives with family and friends, and get random free swag (like subaru tote bags last year). Sure, no sexy concepts but I'll take it.

LOL you've got a point... but that would all be great, if it was free to go in. Instead you're paying what, like $8 for admission? I know there's ways to get in for free but I'm too lazy to do it haha. And I don't live in the city so it's a bit of a trek to get into the city which I rarely enjoy. One thing I used to enjoy though, the proximity of Moscone Center to Thirsty Bear Brewing Co.

Just out of curiosity. Anyone in SF plan to head out to Saturday's Laguna Seca Toy drive event?

In case you all haven't heard, Paul Walker died in a car crash today. Very sad news. He helped shaped a generation of enthusiasts as an enthusiast himself. RIP

RIP Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. Two passionate car guys who turned their love of cars into a business and race team( Always Evolving ). They also were humanitarians and today held a toy drive at their shop. They also supported other charities like Walker's charity, Reach Out Worldwide, the Asomugha Foundation, and Dreams Rides 4 Kids. Roger was from my parents home country so I cheered for his racing success and followed his career.
