Everywhere I go, when I tell someone I have 3 cars and I'm a car guy the first question I get asked is if one of them is a Tesla.

When I say that I don't and I would never want one the next question is inevitably why not.

And then that inevitably leads to hours of trying to convince me that Tesla and Musk are the greatest things since the wheel was invented.

i just tell people, "have you ever even glanced at the security nightmare their software is?!?" or "i don't have an alexa or ring because of security concerns, why would i want a car that phones home with twice as much data, that i have even less control over?"

usually shuts them up really quickly. no one has come up with a good argument against either of those things so far.
