Hi yo!

3) WRB

5) I've been wanting to get a car replacement for the AE86 that I sold to my co-worker, but there wasn't any fizz with the previous BRZ special editions until the tS, that is. My local dealership (Bert Ogden) wouldn't budge with their CWP $32,000 price plus they never called back even though I told them that I am interested and willing to negotiate, so I went and negotiated with another dealership (Sterling) that has a WRB and is 6 hours away. A couple days of negotiation via text and I was able to drop the price to $28,900. I called them to finalize and I said, "Don't worry about my credit, I am good for it and I will see y'all @ 1000 tomorrow morning." The rest are history.

As far as plans for the tS, I would like to get Camilobrzts' numbering plaque (See your pm, @Camilobrzts) and perhaps a Dezod catback exhaust because of its deep tone. But otherwise, I think I will keep this one stock since I already had my fill of modification with my Impreza.

You'll soon find that everything you loved in the AE86 is present in the tS, and if you still had the 86, you'd realize why so many AE86 owners in Japan sold their old 86's once they had the new one. It's such a great car.

I used to frequent the track events organized by Steve Romans and his colleagues years ago. Unfortunately, my Impreza won't be ready this Sunday due to maintenance and the BRZ is barely 744 miles. However, if you see Steve Romans and Russell Adams at the event, please say hi for me and that I will come out and play again soon... real soon.

Thanks @Camilobrzts for the plate! For some reason I had it in my head that this actually replaced the plate in the center console under the switches, so I ended up taking my center console apart before finding out, "Oh hey...it's a stick on..." Oh well, at least I know how to take apart the center console now

Welcome! Glad to see another boosted tS! I went with the JRSC myself, but it was a tight call between the Edelbrock and JR!

Hello,

Got a used TS with 4800 miles this last Sunday, drove it up from Florida to GA.

1) James
2) 0558
3) WRB
4) GA
5) My 2013 FRS had engine issues, and it seemed like a good time to upgrade. Found this car in Florida for a good price and decided to join the club! I'll be moving some of the parts over from my FRS before I sell it.

5a) Story:
Totalled my BMW. Was looking for a new experience. Wanted a unique looking car that is even more fun to drive. Also wanted something easily hackable in terms of mods + electronics.

5b) Plans
Typical mods: this is my first time modding a car, I'm learning from this forum + Google + YouTube. Probably going to get OFT tune > header > header/cat back exhaust > air filter. Then supercharge it once I've had enough of the 205hp feel. Just looking to get rid of the torque dip and have a nice sound for now until I start craving that 300WHP+ push again.

Oh... and upgrade the sound system once I'm sick of listening to the car.

Custom mods/hacking: looking to build my own internal computer in the car, and add some features that can be built easily with sensors + small computer chip:
  • A head unit that I would actually use. With a Linux distro or Android. (I just use Carplay/Android Auto now.. Subaru HU is trash)
  • Front + rear parking proximity sensors in the custom HU
  • 360 camera view, or at least automatic tilting side mirror to avoid scuffing rims while parallel parking
  • GPS tracking via custom mobile app
  • Remote start via custom mobile app; with help of security bypass + clutch bypass
  • Roll up/down windows via mobile app
  • + anything else I can think of adding / automating / improving as I'm working on the car

A header and a good tune will likely get you the power bump you need...

5) Been driving MK7 Golf R the past 3 years and really missed having a proper lightweight FR. As fast as the Golf is vs the TS...i still find the TS much more enjoyable to drive.
Mostly planning on leaving my TS as is but might have that itch to supercharge it later on when the CA carb certified tunes come out for the 2018s

Congrats on the tS. New left over or used and where's the front lip?

Just installed my number plate from @Camilobrzts .
Every tS should have one of these.
