So many people hating on the cars like they're all professional race drivers or something... lol. "I don't race but I damn sure bet my car would handle good because I'm not super slammed." Do you guys even know about the risky devil crew? These dudes drift their cars on the daily lol.

1. I paid close attention and this wasn't asked... is your DRLs and Boomerang lights, HIDs stock? They seem more "blue"
2. Both cars are sick. To each their own I say. Tastefully done. |

Could someone explain to me why people think stancing is cool? To me, this looks like the suspension is broken. Ditto for putting gigantic wheels on which just barely clear the wheel wells. I've never heard of this amount of drop being a huge performance upgrade, so I don't get the fad.

You mad, bro? Your trolls is weak, son!
Sorry for being genuinely curious why people think a completely dropped and stretched car looks cool. Explain it to me. Is there a genuine performance benefit to all of that bling? To my knowledge, once you hit a certain level of drop, you start to screw up suspension travel (necessary for grip over bumps), center of gravity and body roll (for lateral grip around corners), etc. No biggie if it's purely an aesthetic choice for people who aren't racing. |

Does an airbag suspension ride really comfortably over bumps when it's not dropped extremely low? I like that they're adjustable, but damn, dropping it to the ground would be a bitch to get in and out of. The stock 86 is already really low and a little tricky to get in and out of until you're used to it. |

Basically this:
and this: brought to life in order to do this: They look cool as a show car but I do cringe when I see them scraping about on the streets :p. But hey, not my car and as long as they don't get stuck and block off where I need to be then they can turn the car to a hovercraft for all I care (actually that Top Gear hover-van was kinda cool). |

His ride height is most likely higher than a lot of people on this forum slamming their cars with crap coils to the max. I know mine is at least on my driving height. There are people on this forum claiming they scrape at STOCK height... well i'm lowered more than the factory height at my driving height, with a lip, and I have never once scraped any part of my car. My car rides great and drives great. I know his does too since we have the same air setup. |

what people fail to realize is how wide spread the use of air suspension is.
and anyone thinks that the photographed height is drivne height, you should go play in traffic. that is CLEARLY for hard parking. you park it you air out you get out. come back air up drive away. i've been in bagged cars that handle better than any 90% of serious coilover setup cars. i'm not tlaking cheap chinese coils either. done right a bagged car can handle JUST as well. why do you think nascar used to run air susepsion? why do trucks and big rigs run air? because its infinitly adjustable on the fly and for truckers it provides a smooth ride, you ask if it rides smoother? just take a second to step back and use common sense to THINK about it. you question things which you do not comprehend. i'm not a stance guy, look up my brz, i'm not into that aspect of the scene but as an ENTHUSIAST i can appreciate it. it looks good and some people just want to look good. not everyone is a race car driver. also, you fail to being ANYHTING to the conversation besides claiming "i dont understnad why people do this" or "its so stupid it ruins the car". those kinds of comments are unwelcomed and make you look like an uneducated jack ass. at the end of the day, show some respect. no one is telling YOU to go slam your car. and we sure as hell aren't telling you that you made a mistake when you baught one of the best critically aclaimed sports cars to be made in decades in AUTOMATIC. |
