Bazooka sub install advice

I recently bought a 2017 86. I have a Bazooka BTA6100 "6" sub from my former vehicle I want to install. I have read and done searches and I am still unclear on the best route to go.

1. Is there any way to tie in the bazooka harness in the trunk area only or will I have to run a power lead to the battery anyway ?
2. With only the bazooka added to the system in the trunk will the amplified door speakers sound ok ?
3. Would one like this make the installation easy and work correctly ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-Lexus...VY-RU5&vxp=mtr

I really do not want to cut any factory wires on the car.
4. If I use the Metra harness method and repin to hook the bazooka up will I still need to run a power to the battery or does the molex connector on going to the factory amp have a power wire that will work with the bazooka ?
If I did this and bypass the factory amp does this mean the door speakers are not amplified or they do not produce any sound at all ???

#3 looks like a clean option if it will work right ?

Please forgive the ignorance I am not versed well in filtering and crossovers, etc. I just want a clean install and good sound but I am not looking to win a sound quality award.

Thanks for any help

I'd recommend running a power lead from the battery. Unhooking the stock amp is going to mess up your mid bass

@22R Hey, does your headunit have RCA outputs? If so, you only need to tap in the blue remote wire. Plug in the RCA on the headunit, run power wire from the battery, find good ground, and mount the subwoofer. If you don't have the RCAs on the headunit, looks like the ebay item will work fine.

Thanks for the responses guys. I am unsure if I have RCA plugs on the head unit as I have not taken it out yet but I kinda doubt that it does. So the ebay plug and a direct wire to the battery fused I suppose is probably the route I will go. I just need to get a trunk mat to be able to slit holes in and secure the bazooka...... no rush just planning out thanks again for the responses.

it looks like that unit has speaker level inputs as an option, you could prob tap signal going into the rear amp and wire that to the speaker level inputs on the sub. I know that doesn't go with the desire to not cut into factory wires, however most wire taps are usually minimally invasive as long as you arnt super rough on them. just an extra 2c.

I haven't updated that thread in along time...
the paint guards holding up very well actually, however I kinda hate it because wax and stuff rests against it and makes it look like I have perfectly straight scratches across my hood. also it reacts to tree-sap similarly to paint, which is unfortunate.
