Cabin intake sound tube..

After 1.5 years of exhaustive research. I have concluded that
the Sound tube that enters the cabin and provides induction noise is for shit.
Actually... I'm just very lazy and finally plugged the thing up.
The car now sounds less "Industrial" , I didn't realize how much the sound tube contributed to the unrefinement of the overall sound.
It's quieter inside now which allows me to hear the Nameless axleback clearer.

I plugged it with a "borrowed" power socket plug from the BMW 550 loaner car they gave me when I dropped off my 335i

This pig has a TT V8. It's like driving a tank. A quick tank that doesn't feel fast.. But it is.. It's Too refined, you don't feel the speed. Some pics..
Nice interstate cruiser.. 77k sticker..

Why didn't you just use the plug Scion supplied in the glove compartment of your FR-S?

Because then he wouldn't be able to make a thread about how he stole one out of his rental BMW while in the parking lot in front of a Pier One Imports.

Can someone take detailed pictures of the spot to plug the tube? I'm too drunk to understand any of this.

Plug is located under glovebox on psgr side, just behind the carpet, about 1" down so it doesn't show right in the middle.

True.. Just making conversation.. And German power outlet covers work in our cars too.. and the 550 is indeed an overpriced ugly tank.
