Very cool picks pwrmkr, and welcome to the BRZ club. What road were you on where you got the Mount St. Helens pic? I've been looking at some roads around there to take day trips to. Is that NF-99 outside Windy Ridge Observatory?

Yes. This run was to Windy Ridge. I try to get on it at least once a year. I was going to do a little hiking around the mountain but it was way to windy to stick around. NFD-25, the north and south road between HWY 12 and 90 is a hoot to run, as well, although in need of some repair.

New to Subaru, but a long time enthusiast!
Hey everyone,
So I just purchased a brand new 2015 Subaru BRZ Limited 6AT in Dark Grey! Super excited to own one of these and start taking a look around the forum to see the work everyone else puts in to their cars. I am new to Subaru after being strictly a Toyota owner for 20 years, but couldn't be more excited about the change. I may be new up here, but I have been a very active member of other forums in the past and part of several car clubs out here in SoCal, so I will do some digging around before asking any questions (i.e. best tires, wheel fitment, lights, etc) to save anyone the headache of repeat threads. Looking forward to talking with some fellow BRZ owners! |

Hey all, Been lurking for a bit after I picked up my 2015 Crystal white pearl BRZ on July 4th. Coming from a 1st gen speed 3 it's quite the difference power wise but the change was worth it. Not looking to mod anything as i'm enjoying the car stock...(eventually i'll change something). Some of my friends own BRZ's also and we had a mini shoot by the subaru head office over the weekend. Hope to meet some of you at meets sometime.

Hey guys!
I'm AC and I paid off my student loans yesterday (sorry, it just feels so good to say that, holy crap). All that money from my next few paychecks that would've been going to the Department of Education will be going into the "BRZ Downpayment" fund instead. Right out of college I totaled my paid-off Honda Fit and got a 2012 Mazda3 - my first MT. When the reality of a $27000 loan at 6.9% hit, I sold it. Threw a few grand into loans and spent the rest on building up a Targa Top 87 Supra Turbo. Daily drove that a while, but got addicted to mountain driving, so I sold it and have been DDing a 92 240sx since. Gonna work together at least $2500 and hopefully get to a dealership before winter starts picking away at my 240sx's reliability too bad. Looking for something a year or two old, but the used FT86 market around here blows, so I might even go new, which, well... I think I've earned it, haha. Stoked to be here and hope to be posting pics of the first BRZ drive before too long! |

Hey everyone, Picked up a 2013 BRZ a couple months ago but haven't had a chance to properly introduce myself! Loving the car so far, besides the crickets underneath the hood haha.

Hello! Been lurking around but I just picked up a 15 WRB BRZ last week. Had 6.9k miles on it at the time of purchase. It is my daily driver. Coming from a few Mustangs, it sure is a night and day difference.
Mods looking to be done in the future not in any particular order: -Install sub/amp that was pulled out of Mustang. Box is huge, maybe find something that will fit on the passenger side and not take up space. Or find some brackets to hold down current box. -Looking for some nice coil overs that are comfy on the street. This car will not see any track, maybe some canyons though. So far RSR Black/Sport-i's have caught my eye. -A nice square 18" set up, 8-9in wide with some good tires. Hard time deciding what color to go with the WRB. -Innovate supercharger (Way down the road lol. Don't want to void warranty right away) |
