i'm not familiar with all the different terms used to describe electronica anymore, trance is a lot different than what we used to call trance back in the 90s.

Trance was a lot more calming back in the day, which was why we called it trance in the first place. The stuff they call trance is a lot more hard/aggresive. I got the impression initial-d stuff was more club/eurobeat and not trance at all.

^Yeah there's a whole series of albums called Super Eurobeat. I burned copies of a bunch of Super GT and Initial D editions when I was into it. Forgot where I found them. Some k-pop/j-pop forum or Initial D forum. It was a direct download gold mine.
